Riviera Travel continues trade team expansion
McCloskey will focus on building relationships
Riviera Travel has further added to its trade team with the appointment of Chris McCloskey as key account manager for Scotland and Ireland.
The move comes after the company announced that it had hired Lloyd Morris as key account manager for UK and Ireland.
McCloskey will focus on building relationships with the river cruise and escorted tour specialist’s travel agent partners. He will report to Vicky Billing, head of trade and Partnerships. He has previously held roles with Silversea in onboard sales and at Royal Caribbean as a Port Shopping Guide.

His appointment means we can fully support our trade partners across Scotland and Ireland, ensuring agents have all they need to confidently sell Riviera. It’s such an exciting time for us as we continue to strengthen the team and in turn bolster our relationships with the trade.”

Jos Dewing parts ways with AE Expeditions
EMEA MD has announced his departure
Jos Dewing, the managing director EMEA of AE Expeditions, has announced that he has left the company.
In a statement on LinkedIn, Dewing said: “It has been a very difficult decision to leave AE and I pay tribute to a truly incredible bunch of people globally (land and sea) and a fantastic team here in the UK too in outside and inside sales.
“When I joined the expedition company in 2021, we had just a single ship, The Greg Mortimer, laid up due to Covid. It is amazing to see just how far the company has come in less than 3 years. Two ships operating with world-beating scores, a third new-build on the horizon and a product continuing to operate at the very highest levels of experience, innovation and responsible travel, as highlighted from our recent B-CORP certification.
“My time at AE has been hugely rewarding, learning so much about the true nature of expedition and small-ship travel from some of the best and most experienced people on the planet.
