Oceania Cruises has hired David Sanderson as its new sales manager North, Scotland and Ireland to work with its trade partners.
Sanderson joins a team of sales professionals covering the UK and Ireland, including Alex Farquharson, recently promoted to senior manager key accounts, and James Scott, sales manager South.
The team will report to new sales director UK and Ireland, Louise Craddock, who has been with the brand for nearly 10 years.
Riviera Travel has announced that Robin Shaw has been made its permanent chief operating officer.
Robin has been working with Riviera in a consultancy capacity since August.
Reporting into chief executive officer Phil Hullah, Robin will be responsible for product development, commercial and operations.
Saga has appointed Fran Collins as the newest member of its Cruise Board.
Collins will join the board of the over-50s specialist in addition to her role as chief executive officer of ferry company Red Funnel.
Cruising Excursions has appointed Liz Ryan as its business development manager.
Ryan joins the company from Sykes Cottages where she was property recruitment team manager.
She previously spent two stints at Saga Holidays where was latterly senior regional sales manager, and she has also worked at Wendy Wu Tours and Affordable Car Hire.
Ryan will be reporting to Cruising Excursions’ head of trade sales, Kirsty Bachelor to reengage with agents.
