HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions) has announced changes in roles at a global level including Alex Delamere-White’s official appointment as chief commercial officer, following six months as acting interim CCO.
Based out of the new HX HQ in London, he will bring the global functions under one leadership model to further fuel HX’s long-term growth plans, including newly evolved roles for Nathaniel Sherborne and Jim Sayer. Sayer is appointed to SVP global marketing bringing together the global marketing functions under his leadership. As MD & VP Europe and global sales enablement, Sherborne will extend his remit to include Europe and a new global sales enablement function, driving the co-ordination of B2B activities for HX globally with a core focus on being easy to do business with.
Delamere-White brings with him a broad range of cruise experience having led multi-site sales and marketing teams, e-commerce as well as loyalty programs for Carnival UK including P&O Cruises, Cunard, and Princess Cruises for over a decade.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has appointed Steve Odell to the position of chief sales officer – this follows the recent announcement of Paul Beale’s promotion to vice president sales UK.
Odell will be responsible for the world class sales organisation including maximising opportunities across all booking distribution channels and deepening valued travel partner relationships. Odell will report directly to Andrea DeMarco, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Odell re-joins Regent and brings with him a wealth of experience in the luxury travel industry, having most recently tenured for Regent as senior vice president and managing director of the Asia Pacific region for seven years.
Paul Beale is an integral member of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, having joined the luxury line in March 2012. In his most recent role as senior director sales UK, Paul played a pivotal role in continuing to nurture Regent’s relationship with their trusted travel partners, and this promotion comes as a recognition of his significant contributions to the company.
