The deals that cruise lines unleash this time of year are always a valuable tool for kick-starting sales after the festive season, but this year there are months and months of pent-up demand from hundreds of thousands of avid cruisers for sellers to tap into. The Centre for Business and Economic Research estimates some £197 billion has built up in savings while the world has been on hold, and with interest rates close to zero and people desperate for a foreign holiday, agents who get on board with selling cruise are in for a bumper year.
